Last month Ed wrote about a local news report that revealed San Francisco’s streets were strewn with trash, discarded needles, and human waste. The situation was so bad that it was judged worse than conditions in some third world countries.

It is actually one of the cleanest cities in the country, I enjoyed the fiction piece though.

Sorry, it is no longer what it once was. It is now a sanctuary city. He//, California declared itself a ####### SANCTUARY STATE last year. The story is accurate. I would only add, without getting into the spreading tuberculosis and Hep C problem, that it's far worse than described but, alas, the sanctuary status declared by the liberal left has been turning US cities into sh:tholes for 50 years.

you will believe anything with regard to San Fran being covered in feces needles and trash.. I am sure it has its bad parts of town like any other city, but it is remarkably clean.

The Tent cities in LA are no joke though.

I saw at least 10 homeless ######## on the sidewalk. There was more.homeles than NY which I as surprising. SF while beautiful scenery was a ######## imo

One of the biggest, if not the biggest, economies in the US. Would be the sixth largest economy in the world if it were a freestanding country. Budget surpluses. Contributes more federal taxes money than it receives

It's almost as if this state is doing pretty ok.

There are disgusting, putrid stretches of Atlanta and even Greenville if I'm looking for a photo op. Don't even get me started on Columbia or the low-country, where almost everyone is on disability or perpetual unemployment.
