decision I have ever seen.

You do not risk handing the ball off in that situation.

You kneel. You call timeout with 5 seconds. You throw the 4th down play into the stands. The game is over or maybe 1 second left from the Auburn 25.

Idiotic playcall. Worst decision Dabo has ever made coaching.

Easily.

By handing it to gallman, you have a shot to end it with a first down. If he stays in bounds, which was the worst mental error of the night and with which Dabo was visibly upset, we run it again on fourth and if we don't get the first, they have about ten seconds and no time outs to go the length of the field.

Or at most they have 1-2 seconds. I remember a few years ago when Tajh threw one into the stands to end the game that took the final 5 seconds off of the game clock, so I'm sure we could have done the same thing tonight.

you are absolutely correct, not sure why dabo is getting ripped for a mental mistake by gallman

Dabo has to adjust his playcall after Gallman's mistake.

The initial plan wasn't a terrible idea, but once Gallman ran out of bounds the subsequent decision to go for it on 4th down with the same IZ run doesn't make sense.
