The Heisman is a kiss of death for Clemson

Oct 1, 2019, 8:26 PM

Every time a Clemson player is mentioned for the Heisman, it negatively affects our team somehow. With Lawrence off to a “bad start”, he should officially be out of the running and hopefully we can get back to playing real Clemson football!

Watson was mentioned in the pre-season of 2016. I have no complaints of how that season turned out for Clemson.

Spiller should have one the Heisman

He almost signle handedly gave us a solid season in his final year doing everything under the sun. The award seems to have slipped to be the "mostly best player on one of the mostly best teams"

I'd really rather see the award go to an MVP of a middle of the road team where his play likely elevated the team to 5 more wins than if he had not played.....

What do I know though.....
