Can't say I blame him. Really, who is he going to learn more from: Dabo or Saban?

I have never flamed a poster on here but you my friend are an idiot, If this was not some kind of joke then apparently you know nothing about Clemson football and recruiting. Gaines Adams, Ricky Sapp, Phillip Merling, Daquan Bowers. Malicah Goodman so yeah if you don't like these kind of players then sure let him go.

This proves the idiots on this board. The only reason they want Brad Scott gone is that he coached for USC, but the same ones want Ellis Johnson..go figure

I want him gone, because he has been extremely ineffective at every coaching responsibility he's had since leaving a very loaded FSU program. I really don't care if he took the job with the coots. Looks like they paid him a bunch of money, and he never accomplished squat. I love it when they do stupid things. I just don't like it when we do.

$$$ to a Defensive Line coach is ABSURD.
That being said, I don't blame Rumph for taking the $$$ and running.

It's time to clean house! I say we get rid of the whole coaching staff and start over. I just wish TDP had the stones to can Dabo as well.

Big Time Loss, what is all the hate for
Jan 4, 2011, 4:02 PM

This was one of our best coaches on staff, Clemson has been known for developing top level defensive ends, you guys who are hating are stupid, this is Clemsons strongest point. Just look who the defensive player of the year is in college football.

Exactly. The guy did coach Gaines Adams (top 5 pick), Philip Merling (32nd overall pick) and Daquan (will be a top 10 pick). Not to mention Ricky Sapp, Andre Branch... he's a good coach who got results from his players and a good recruiter as well. This is a big loss.

Rumph didn't recruit Sapp or Gaines and Phillip Merling is his nephew. Give me Brooks any day over Rumph. D line only became great after Brooks arrival. Alabama just payed alot of money for a shot at Clowney. Watch Goodman blow it up this year.
