I have a theory about loud talkers.

As an only child, from a "quiet" family, and now having 3 kids and a wife from a large family, and just in general, my theory is as follows:

Loud talkers come from big families, usually having 2 or more siblings. Growing up they had to yell to be heard over the other kids also screaming to be heard. Likewise the parents of 3+ children have to be loud when they talk to their kids because of all the commotion.

Just a theory.

So I don't think he can hear very well from all the hammering and cutting of wood over the years. He talks LOUD. ALL THE TIME. And now since his wife has been around him so long, she's a LOUD TALKER, TOO.

We were Ubering somewhere and he was in the front seat and the Uber driver had her finger in her ear wincing every time he spoke the whole time we were riding.
