How it should have gone down...

Sep 26, 2018, 1:56 PM

KB stays with the team, prepares for every game, but saves the redshirt (does not play).

Brice gets developmental / mop up snaps

KB preserves maintains his reputation and leadership position with the team, and is available in the event of a TL injury or meltdown

Nobody wins the way things shook out, with KB losing the most.

He should start training at Safety with the team

Could be a good prospect next year.

Train. Continue to practice & stay sharp - take grad course

work towards his Masters (unless he isn't taking ANY coursework right now ?)

Have an understanding with the coaches that if we are still in the hunt for a special season & TL goes down, Brice comes in and struggles, he would jump in.

He's on his own now - until January - makes no sense.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

EXACTLY!!!!! He needed a position change to have hope at the next level and the rest of this year would have helped prep him here or at another school. He is not going to ever be an NFL QB unless the game warps back to the 30's.

That's certainly what I thought

KB would lose nothing on what ever he does next year. Stay and train with the best and be the backup in case TL is injured.

However, if he was willing to say he did not get a fair opportunity, then maybe he would not be capable of staying for a what-if scenario and being productive.

Sad to see him go out like that. Maybe he makes a better final departure statement to clear up what he means.
