video and the talking by the game annoucer need to go! Our entrance needs no hype and the band and running down the hill should stand on their own. All the crap going on Saturday cheapened it. Also they need to move the check presentations and announcements to half time or before the band starts pregame. I have always thought that kills the energy before the tigers run down the hill.

And I totally agree... It was a letdown for the first game of the year especially since I was telling my 5 year old how great it was and had him sitting there amped up ready to watch and then it sucked

..cheapened to the point that it now resembles a WWE Raw event. Seriously, do we *need* someone to remind us to "get ready to experience the most exciting 25 second in college football"? Don't we already KNOW that? Do we need a GIANT TV above the Hill to show us what we can already see? Let the running down the hill happen naturally..like the old days....

..remember the Hill experience then, as opposed to now. Back then, there were no announcements, no music blaring, just your own senses focusing to watch the Tigers gather at the top of the hill...it didn't NEED anything extra to get you in the mood.....

..to the old Hill entrance routine? Virtually zero in my opinion. Why don't we just put a Ferris wheel in each corner of the stadium just to complete the carnival type atmosphere?

What was wrong was the darn music kept playing well after the Orange Bowl March started by Tiger Band. When it finally stopped the P/A announcer was so loud with the too long announcement about the entrance you couldn't hear the band well then. Then finally the cannon fires and it starts and the darn fireworks go off. Sometimes less is more!!!! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!

Guess, I'm glad we didn't see it...I would have been upset with that mess...
...When our connection finally kicked in, the teams were somewhere about mid-point of the field. We lost the connection about 5 or 6 times during the first half of the game, and had to listen to ESPN radio.
...not sure what was going on with that.
I agree quite often, Less IS MORE.
Example of watching today's movies...every few minutes something exploding...it just becomes, O gee, another explosion...
GO TIGERS!!!

Simply, because you see and hear Tiger Band's prelude and Tiger Rag along with the team running down The Hill. That needs to remain the focus, not all the frills.

rule of being home to the most exiting 25 seconds of college football is you don't mention the most exciting 25 seconds of college football over the stadium loudspeaker. Shutup and let it speak for itself. Hopefully they'll get that fixed.
