Tons of Clemson fans obsessing over a football player who just completed his junior year in HS. Tons of Clemson fans waiting breathlessly for another family update from David Hood. Give it a rest. If Tavien heads to UT, I wish him well, especially on day they play coots. But --- I take Tavien's word that he is committed to Clemson. I think he will be a Tiger. Our coaches are in contact with this young man constantly. That, and Tavien's word are what counts. He will be a Clemson Tiger. Enough already!

I hate to hear people get so worked up about this...I mean apparently this young man is a good kid and comes from a great family...I never thought for a second he would not end up a Tiger, but I do see where ppl get upset bc a kid commits then still goes on visits...which i completely agree with him doing. Hes earned it, go out and see the country and see what everyone has to offer, but at the same time if you are going to do that just dont verbally commit. I dont blame him one second for checking out other schools to see what everything is about.

From Clemson and go to Tennessee. They just haven't been good until the early 2000s. They won there first bowl game this year for the first time since 2007, for the last 3-4 years they have only been winning 2-3 conference games a yr, they haven't had consistency in their coaching, etc. Historically, yes they are one of the top 20 programs in the nation but i don't see them dominating the SEC anytime soon. They are rebuilding their program and looking for consistency while Clemson is already rebuilt and looking to continue winnning championships. I could understand if he was considering GA, Aub, FSU or Bama but i just don't see why anyone would drop us for UT right now.
