Davidson's blast highlights 7-run inning as Tigers defeat Bulldogs

Logan Davidson’s three-run homer highlighted a seven-run fifth inning as Clemson defeated Gardner-Webb 9-2 Saturday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. It appeared to me that our guys came to the plate with a renewed conviction to not WATCH called strike threes!!!

They did a good job at swinging at strikes and not going down with the bat on their shoulders. Nice day fielding. Good job of running the bases. Pitching was solid, very few freebies, made them swing the bats once we got the lead.

Really comfy Win!!! Let's do it again tomorrow up in Shelby!!!

The game I just watched was 10-2. Anyway we can suspend Monte for the rest of the year?

When every swing at every pitch is an uppercut home run swing, occasionally you have success....occasionally. Look, however, at the left on base numbers and the called third strikes. Situational hitting with level line drive swings scores runs. Davidson did that today. (just saying). ???????
