Syracuse fans

I'm going to the Syracuse game and I'm wondering how their fans are? Are they rude a$$ Yankees or actually good people?

Rude and obnoxious. Their fan base is modeled after their coach.

after the 96 Gator Bowl I would have told you they were a bunch of foul-mouthed rude-a$$ Yankees, but after last years trip up there, I found the opposite ot be true. They were actually quite nice and very hospitable.

My wife and I went last year via a trip to Niagara Falls. Most everyone we ran into in upstate New York was very nice, including downtown Syracuse before the game and at the Carrier Dome.

...very friendly. Remember, this isn't basketball, where you're more likely to encounter some arrogance due to their success. It's football, and it's been a rough, what, 3 decades for them?

Also, it's looking like a 6-6 or 5-7 season for them (and that's being optimistic). I wonder how many fans they'll bring when they can't even sell-out the Carrier Dome for a huge game. I'm guessing 500... max?
