Suspended Players at Clemson

Has almost being an afterthought. I know it can happen to anyone and has happened to Dabo in the past, however, I feel more comfortable than ever with our players conduct.
I don't know that I heard of as much as a parking ticket from those young men this offseason. Incredible, proud to be a tiger and amazed to have the standards our coaches have instilled. Go Tigers!

Last I remember was during the 2015/2016 Playoff. If we are talking preseason/off season into game one it would be offensive lineman Beasley. I can't remember if Hopper actually got suspended or was just in the coach's doghouse or if McCullough was suspended before the 2015 season.

Cain for the Miami game, also again for the post season, along with the kicker, who's name I admit to forgetting, and I think one more player. If there was anyone last season I don't recall.

I think the playoffs 2 years ago with Cain, Lakip and someone else. And Sammy for 2 games before that. At least the couple times it's happened they seem to learn their lesson.

Respect is earned, not given. Dabo has an amazing way of earning the respect of his team - the entire team. And once that respect is earned and is genuine the players don't want to let him down. To me, this is the biggest difference between Dabo and some previous coaches. Arrogance does not buy respect, only resentment.
Great post and a fact that all of Clemson should be proud of.....

Great point. Dabo and has staff really do a great job. It is a real tribute that no player suspensions, etc have come about. These must be high quality young men.

Its amazing feat of Muchchumps discipline that they don't have half their team suspended since their season ended so much earlier in Birmingham.

When the coaches strive to recruit intelligent, level-headed guys with great character, you don't have to worry about suspensions.

It has to help that some of our guys now feel challenged by Deshaun & Artavis graduating in three years. You can keep your nose clean if it's in a book when you aren't at practice!
