Staying The Course: Albert Huggins. Draft Prospect#

Albert Huggins is listed as the #159 overall player in the upcoming draft. He was a high 4 star recruit coming in; but never really broke the starting line up. Bada Bing - he ends up starting in the Cotton Bowl for the world to see. He will get drafted. He didn't quit. He didn't make excuses and look to transfer. He kept working and he blamed himself over his 1st few years for not starting(accountable).
To me - that's a Clemson football player personified top to bottom. He graduated!

***Kids keep your heads up! Don't quit! You never know when you will get that opportunity! You just have to be ready to exploit it when it comes! Take advantage of it and don't look back!

He's the Kevin Dodd of this year for certain!

Well said and well spoken. I think once he goes through the combine and we get closer to the draft, he’ll go even higher. Tremendous upside. He could have pouted after his buds decided to come back but as you so eloquently stated, he was team first. Thank you Huggy Bear!!!! Your story will be told and replayed for decades to come.

Kerrig - I would love to have our complete team including DL90. But, Huggins really put my mind at ease Saturday. In fact, bamer isn't as smash mouth as the have been. I think AH being a bit lighter maybe a step faster may help in the effort to affect Tua.
I really hope people don't dismiss a AH contribution. Or any scout team player; because they get the starters ready. Scout team is so talented it forces our starters to get better or get exposed in practice.
