That putting "active on social media" under skills in their resume is a good ####### idea? We're seriously screwed for the future.
Wife brought home a bunch of resumes for students wanting an internship at her accounting office and several students put 'active on social media' in their skill set list.
Another pet peeve are the ones who put /4.0 on their GPA. No shid sherlock of course its out of 4.0.
Kids these days...

I mean you would think having a 13" #### is awesome and all but most of the time it's just awkward. Sex isn't really that fun as it won't fit in most girls and usually leads to "lets try again later." I also have to wear compression shorts when running or else I'll slap myself in the belly button.

High school has some weighted GPAs...but as far as I know colleges are on a 4.0 scale. I've never seen otherwise. These are CofC students.

takes AP classes. For AP classes, you get 5.0 for an A, 4.0 for a B etc.

grading scales? Something went sideways on that a few years back.
Accountants need not be good with social media. Make marketing interns. Will your wife put that they mentioned social media on there resume as the reason they didn't get hired?

But in many other careers social media experience could be a plus. Advertising, public relations, college coach, etc.
I would be screwed if a job was dependent on being knowledgeable about social media...
Or sobriety for that matter.

I went to a rinky dink Master's program that had (at the time) it's MBA program located 5 minutes from my house. Was cheap enough that I could take 3 classes a year and never paid a dime for anything.
