If Clemson opens on the road it will mean three straight years of road openers. At Georgia this year, 2015 ????, 2016 at Auburn.

Possibly Miami @ Miami....

Only two of Clemson's conference opponents next year don't already have games scheduled for 9/5 (Miami, and either BC or Wake I believe. I can't remember which).

With Notre Dame and SCar our two OOC opponents next year, I'm inclined to think that the AD will schedule a nice fluffy opponent for our opener.

It should be an ACC opponent as we will get a cupcake, in-state team the week before Scar.

like we did starting.........5 (?) or so years ago for 3 years. Then we took thUGA the last 2 years. I think it'll be another one of those home, away, neutral site (Chick-fil-a Kickoff Classic or whatever it'll be called by then). I could be wrong, but I thought thats what the deal was.

So, we will open up with an ACC Team? ND only
Oct 22, 2014, 8:25 AM
|
|
playing 5 ACC teams in CFB was just so screwey from the get go. Should it count as a conference W or L for the team ND plays? It's not like it effects ND in the same way, since they're not 100% affiliated with the conference as far as an ACCCG goes. I guess they have to rely on their SOS (and win every game depending on who and when their loss was) if they ever want to make the final 4.......or 6, or 8, or.....

Another "power house" schedule next year.
You should be a "shew in" for a winning season.

It's just too bad we don't play powerhouses like Kentucky, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Florida.

Which could all take you down.
Let's see. Who have you beat.
South Carolina State - Yes North Carolina - Wow (East Carolina put 70 on them) N.C. State - Super Boston College - Another power house
Georgia - Now who did they lose to? Florida State - You couldn't even beat them with a backup qb

Clemson beat UNC, who East Carolina put 70 on, but Norte Dame only put 50 on UNC, so East Carolina is better than ND, & the ####$ beat EC, so that means they get a win against ND.

I know that's a lot to ask, but to get to "power house" you have to play "power house" teams

mediocre teams, and a few dumpster fires. I don't care what the names on the jerseys say, Tenn and Florida aren't better than Louisville and BC so quit kidding yourself.
The SEC West should trim the fat and start it's own conference without the dead weight of the SEC East dragging them down. Or maybe they need to keep the East to pad their W/L records.

This schedule has an obvious flaw. It only has 13 slots, and should have 14 counting the two open dates that everyone has. I'm thinking the last Sat. in August is what's missing. Maybe the Chic-Fil-A.

Wofford should be before USuCk.
We could possibly play the Labor Day Monday night game which would be an ACC game. Unless they aren't going to do it anymore who knows.
