everybody else pretty much sucked that year. it was just given to them by default. kind of like the sec least in 2010.
then, of course, lost their bowl game.

Fred Ziegler at WR. I was ten years old at the time, so that's about all I can recall.

sorda like when clemson won an ACC with no teams ranked in the top 20

You have no leg to stand on....

We have 18 ACC titles.

Back to your hole coot.

There were still 7 teams with a winning record.

And 3 ranked in the top 25. When your Gamecocks won, they were the only one with a winning record.

And less teams.***

If I remember correctly VT was ranked in the top 5 both times we beat them that year.

and they only played one road game, at Wake Forest

talk about being given an open layup. Did the ACC powers just feel abject pity for them or something?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg

WHAT?! Coots played only 1 road game in 1969 ACC title win.

He is like every other coot fan. They live on another planet. They think they are relevant in everything but look at their trophy case. Even their own conference members laugh at how relevant they think they are. Really, really pathetic for college fans to be so narcissistic.

Was that the year the coots lost to WVU in the Peach Bowl.?

Peach Bowl loss to WVA coached by Jim Carlen who later

went to TX Tech and later ended in cootville, One of the captains was DB Pat Watson who sent two sons to Clemson and referred to Clemson as "we".
