So CNN stated that COVID-19 cases in the US skyrocketed

and that's what sent the market into a tailspin again today.

Based on www.worldometers.info - there were 890 new cases confirmed.

Is going from 7000 to 8000 cases (out of a country of 330 million) considered "skyrocketing" ?

say things like "Market dives due to uncertainty of virus," or "Market rises due to stimulus package proposal," stated as fact? That's a subjective opinion. We don't know why specifically the market does what it does. In fact, it's probably for 1,000 reasons at one time.

To me, we've got 2 things that can end this hysteria...

1. Test basically everyone and hope/pray that a ##### ton of people test positive, and thus, make the death rate look lower.

2. A decent vaccine/treatment

Otherwise, there is no chance we are gonna be playing football. We shut down schools with only 2,500 known cases. Even if the summer heat helps, that 2,500 number is gonna look like zero when September rolls around.
