and I think a lot of people are pissed about it. Amusingly, the artist was a member of the Communist Party and the mural itself is basically a leftist depiction of American history.

I've done a lot of environmentals and they don't cost that much. Something doesn't add up here.

I love everything about this story and I am really excited about the utopian direction that California has gone. Obviously especially the San Francisco area. Just awesome.
It takes 4 gallons of paint to cover 1,600 square feet. That’s $150,000 a gallon. Please do this. Continue to teach the rest of us how to be a progressive, utopian society.
Seriously, so great. The idea that this is traumatizing students. What students!?! Lol. High school kids aren’t traumatized by a painting! But make sure you grandstand about how the walls are out to get them...that might get into their heads.
Did a lady really question why they should have to explain why the painting is offensive? Awesome!
An environmental study...to paint a wall! What the heck can they tell us that we don’t already know about painting a wall!?! Hilarious!
$600,000 to paint a wall! Can you IMAGINE having your kids at this school? You’d be furious! Oh my goodness what can be done with half a million dollars!

then two coats of any color they choose as long as it's white. OK, I'm not a racist, I'm talking about all shades of white except appliance white. OK then, I'll do ap white too if they insist.
Total cost to them half a mil.
