micheegan's coach for cutting a recruit off after he committed and then took other visits while a couple off years ago they vilified CDS for doing the same thing with the kimdeechee kid that plays for the sec rebels.
Some of you morons have yet to admit that the media does not have a blatant, scorched earth, hell bent agenda when it comes to athletics, politics and/or religion. To those folks, you are a stumbling block not a step stone.
You have created a culture where cheating and lying is acceptable (eg, john swoffford AND his alma mater).

Nobody had anything to say about Coach Swinney "cutting" Nkimdeche because that never happened, and when Nkimdeche decided he wanted to look at other schools, there wasn't any vilification. Nkimdeche's commitment was under a lot of scrutiny because he was the #1 recruit in the country and it came out that his family didn't approve of his choice. We don't know exactly what went down between Coach Swinney and Nkimdeche, but we do know that they both came to the conclusion that it would be better if Nkimdeche backed off his commitment to Clemson. Once that happened, nobody really had much to say about Clemson.

I think he meant to say Dabo caught a lot of flak for not yanking Knemdevitche's offer when it appeared that he had done so before for players taking other visits.

I don't think any of us know exactly what happened, but I don't recall Swinney saying that he'd dropped Nkimdeche's offer. That's what makes me think that the most likely scenario is that Nkimdeche and Swinney agreed that the best thing to Nkimdeche would be for him to be released from his commitment.
Too many Clemson people seem to want to think that every time a recruit decommits, it has something to do with Clemson's seizing of the moral high ground. Most of the time, however, coaches understand the pressures on a recruit of Nkimdeche's caliber and are thus willing to put up with a little more. Other times, kids just would prefer to go elsewhere and can't follow through their "commitment" to Clemson.
