I realize some of our elderly on the board have been through multiple wars and are tough as nails but in these times you need to protect to yourself. So if you are over the age of 60, you live near the Anderson, Clemson, Pendleton, Williamston and piedmont area and you need essentials, and are struggling to make it anywhere to get what you need , please Tmail me and I will see what I can do to get you what you need. Stay at home and be safe!

Fine sentiment and offer. I’d like to offer the same for anyone in the Pee Dee area. I regret that I have but one TU to give.

If pigs are so smart, why do 66% of them use weak and inferior materials during construction?

Well, looks like we have a serial thumbs downer, kerigantoo®. Both our posts also received a thumbs down.

Can't understand why someone would thumbs down these posts. Sad really.

Edit:

Okay jackleg that is thumbing down posts in this thread, you are a sad sack. I am updating this post instead of a new post so you won't have the opportunity to thumbs down again. Shame on you.

Not in the area there but fit the description and my 60 plus wife is diabetic. Our CVS is a mile away and they said home prescription delivery in their tv ad. When we called its mail order only. Well her insulin has to be refrigerated so that wont work. They are misleading sacks of junk.

How long would it take them for a mail delivery? Also, I’ve seen them deliver refrigerated items in small coolers or foam containers filled with ice/cool packs.

I had some prescriptions a few years back that had to be kept cold. I actually still use some of the little "disposable" ice packs shipped with the meds. Chances are that mail order meds will work in your situation.

They mail my Mom's insulin in a cooler all the time...

My insulin has to be refrigerated also, and that rules out the Canadian much cheaper prices for the exact same insulin!!! Sucks for people like your wife and I that are diabetic!!!!

An extremely generous offer first from

you, then others. I'm very proud of all of you.

I have been running errands and shopping for several elderly friends, all of whom have or have had physical problems. When some other younger friends asked why I was running around so much, I said, "Well, I feel sorry for older folks, so I'm trying to help out." Which brought about some dumbfounded looks, considering they know I'm almost 73.

These are the ones who have sacrificed so much to preserve our well being. They are the ones who stood on front lines for us, fed, sheltered and raised us and they are the ones being targeted by this garbage! I believe that God has a will and it will be what it will be, but I would like to believe I could make it a little easier on them with just a little effort on my end.

I live in the upstate area and would be willing to do the same. Touch_The_Rock79 this is a great idea and shows just why the Clemson Family is so special.

For this idea I will give you all of my TU’s if I could. Very unselfish offer by you.
