Brad Kyaak at Miami seems to be scarier that Briskett.

Just get better. I don't know if I should pick Clemson's O or D as scariest.

NC State, mostly for historic reasons. I was at that awful game two years ago in Raleigh- wearing my orang me proudly NOT in the visitors section.
I'll be there again this year. We'll get our revenge...
Miami looked alright against FSU. In all seriousness they're the ones we need to be most careful of.

That 1 loss between the 10 wins sucked pretty bad

I can't see how anyone could look at NC State with more concern than the Miami game.
The Textile Bowl has been fun for most of the past decade with last year's blowout shutout, 2013's 12 point win where I never really felt comfortable, and 2012's shootout when Tajh had his 8 TD game and our defense was still a year away.
A loss in Raleigh would be devastating this season and in all honesty it would be incredibly surprising and shocking to me.
A loss in Miami would also be devastating with our hopes of going undefeated, but if somehow we managed to lose that game I wouldn't be nearly as shocked as losing to the Wolfpack.
Regardless of what I think, the important thing for this team is to take it one game at a time. I trust Dabo to have his players ready for BC this week, then for Miami, then for the Wolfpack.
Our players and coaches know what is on the line this year. They have reached the point where they know they have the talent, coaching, and experience to be able to compete with any team in the country. There are no opponents that would be able to put any fear into these young men if they were lined up across from them.
This is an entirely new culture than 10 years ago. Back then it was like we wanted to win every game, but in 2005, for example, against Miami, when we lost in triple OT when Charlie threw the INT to Devin Hester, there were numerous fans that were happy that we were able to compete as well as we did. Those attitudes are gone. We expect to compete in every game, and we expect to win every game. We've got the talent, the coaches, the facilities, the fanbase, and the players to line up against anyone in college football.

Don't the road team usually win between Clemson and Miami? I think we'll win both

I go to NC State but I grew up (and remain) a huge Clemson fan. Clemson is coming to Raleigh on Halloween/Homecoming weekend and NC State has a tendency to get up against some big teams even when we are as bad as we are. My Clemson side is more nervous about NC State than Miami, personally. Jacoby is a helluva QB though and anybody that knows anything would definitely see him as more of a threat than Kaaya. Just my 2 cents

Brissett was 4-18 passing for 35 yards against us last year

That's 1.9 yards per attempt for a dismal QBR of 2.1 (the lowest I've ever seen).
He was able to add 14 rush yards on 16 carries to his 35 pass yards for 49 yards of total offense.
I know Jacoby Brissett has played well in some of his games, but we heard about how good he was before the game last year, and that certainly didn't work out very well for him.

Miami for sure, they looked every bit as good as FSU. The defense was fast and physical, it was actually one of the most hard hitting games I have seen all year (rivalry and all). Kaaya looked good tossing it around.
Having said all that I have complete faith in coach V to shut them down and our offense will be running on all cylinders by then.

Or, at least, they have some much better players. I guess we'll see if Miami beats VT this weekend, because NC State lost to VT.

Neither. I'm still trying to understand why NC St has all this blubbering about them this year. And Miami is just a name these days. I love my orange tinted glasses unabashedly! Now pass me a Sunkist!

1 thing about both these QB's ... they both hold the ball waaaayyyyy too long. Kayak gets happy feet and usually throws off the wrong foot even in the pocket! Briskett & NC State scares me more. Not because of talent but because of atmosphere.
