if we aren't careful, they will. All I can say is, we should have crushed Maryland. We were not prepared well enough. Now we are a consensus #7. Quite a few of our main players are soph or frosh. It would seem that Chad Morris is going to be on his game, but is Steele? Are the players going to take him seriously enough? NC State is just good enough and seen as just bad enough that we need to be very careful. USuCk will also be waiting.

Does Heather not even watch football games? Sad.
Does ESPN know she's like this? They don't pay her do they? Please tell me she does NOT get paid.
I think she's actually getting worse - if that's possible.

THIS was the first post of HD's to annoy me. I was fine with the one at halftime of Maryland (I only saw it after the fact) because it really did look like it at the time. I was fine with all of it - because it's mostly true - until the part about it being just like Clemson to lose to NC State.
It would have been just like Clemson to lose to Maryland, too. Or BC. But we didn't. If it's not quite time to shed our reputation completely, it IS time to start taking another look at it. This year's team is this year's team - and really has NOTHING to do with the earlier versions that earned the reputation. Judge these guys for who they are and what they've done, not what happened on the watch of others.
Those teams of years past don't have any problems being what they are - even if they didn't care for it, they know their successes and failures. So does this team now.
That seemed unduly harsh. I think if she wanted to say that we were the most likely to lose between us and FSU - I'd probably agree with her if only because our schedule is tougher than FSU's. It's been tougher since we played them. Also...it's HARD to go undefeated.
Just some bad reasoning there.

I normally don't have that much of a problem with Dinich...any more than any other sloppy sports writer, anyway...but this incessant harping on "which easy game will Clemson throw" is getting real old. It seems like she mentions it at *least* twice a day now.

None of Heather Dibitch's articles have really irritated me... With the the exception of this one... She really is a young, non-sports minded ###### who is not predicting Clemson to lose to NC State but in sense, hoping and praying we lose to NC State because she doesn't have the editorial insight and understanding to write a column on a team rising from its past slips trips and falls she only has the newspaper intern mindset to write about what's been written and said by countless analyst and columnist over the past two decades. Heather Dibich covers the ACC worse than any reporter I have every seen. Her typos, grammatical errors, premature press release columns and overall bipolar personality has me wishing Dabo and TigerNet would give her the Ron Morris treatment.... Here's to you Heather Dibitch, when it comes to writing an article, you need to just go make me a sammich...

Stop the sexist comments, it reflects badly on all CU fans

There are just as many women at the Clemson games as there are men, and we know our football. Heather's comments reflect the norm from ESPN, and the majority of her MALE counterparts in all college football media. Let the winning do the talking, support our team, and forget what the media, even the ESPN ACC reporter, has to say. All that matters is the game.
