SC fans now believe they will "lock down the state" because Muschump is such a great recruiter.

All you have to do is look at his recent SC classes for proof.

However, they do not recruit by the stars...they find diamonds in the rough and develop them.

All you have to do is look at the success on the field for proof.

Exactly, in the 17 class I remember a huge amount of coot fans saying you win by locking down the state bc they landed like 4/6 top 6 in state prospects but we landed the best one and others besides shi smith weren't very good anyways but we all saw with the elite talent SC had in the 18 class with XT and others clemson mopped up and landed all the top players. They lock down the state in years where there isn't elite SC prospects but when the big fish come around we lock the state down. It all boils down to they are like a lap dog that get all of our table scraps that we don't want.

This kid is actually a good pick up for the Coots. He is a top 200 player in 24/7 and espn. The Coots won't drop him he will prob end up being one of their highest ranked recruits. Let the Coots have their day, you know they got to think they landed a top in state guy over us just makes it that much better when we land a better WR recruit. Go Tigers!!
