They play uga on the road.fla and us at home.we play them on the road and play uga and fsu at home....so our schedules are pretty much the same. BUT any coot will tell you that they play in the mighty SEC and their schedule is MUCH more difficult. AND IF we beat them in november they will say it is because that they have taking a beating playing sec schools, while we get to play in the a she she.

That's as easy a schedule as SCar will ever see, especially in-conference. There are exactly 2 good SEC teams on their schedule (UGA and Florida, and even Florida's arguable) and the rest of them aren't worth a crap.
On a side note, I'm still trying to figure out how they managed to get a game AT Central Florida.

The schedule's a little harder than some people think. You can't expect Arkansas and Tenn to continue to suck like they did last year. It is conceivable that Mizzou could give them a game at Mizzou. I predict they will lose 1 of the games in that 3 game stretch. 3 straight road games is tough, regardless of opponents.

Probably my last reply on TN before being banned. If last year's SC team had played Clemson's schedule as an ACC team they would have won the NC in a walk. You played Fla State on the road and came close. You played us at home and; well you know. We are undefeated, win the ACC Championship and kill an overated ND team. YOU have the cupcake walk (except for us) and can't even pull it off. You know this and but can't admit it.

I don't think you beat FSU on the road. You guys got man-handled by a UF team with no offense. FSU's D was arguably better than UF's. You lose that one and I think you'd lose to GT as well. They have a way of lulling you to sleep while taking out your knees. You'd probably come close to dropping a game like you almost did against Tenn. Except Glennon would be able to finish.
Let's play this game and say that we had your schedule. We beat LSU, so that's taken care of. Based on what Louisville showed us we beat UF as well at home or at UF. Toss up would be UGA. Even if we beat them we would probably get smacked around by 'Bama.
You guys do have a cake schedule this year. Beat UGA and you guys will be highly ranked. I hope we're both undefeated at the end of the year....and then we step on your throats and remind you who owns this rivalry. Go Tigers.

They play 6 teams that would finish 3rd in the ACC or better. That's just the truth.

2 of them ARE ACC teams, and Vandy and MSU are

questionable for top 3. They aren't better than Clemson and FSU so they would be fighting with Miami, VT, etc for 3rd.

I wouldn't go that far but I do think it is laughable comparing schedules. Facts are the ACC has not been much tot alk about, hence the national joke that they have been made into outside of Clemson and Fla St. I think Miami is going to get much better and even UVA may surpass UNC and NC St
however, the SEC is no joke but USC has not controlled the conference even when FLa UGA etc have been down. Don't get me wrong, there are more SEC East teams in the top 15 than the SEC west so I don't fit into that croud that says oh well USC is in the east and it is a joke but I do not agree with Clemson's schedule USC would have won the national champ....a bit over reach but hey I have read some crazy stuff on here before

Don't really care one way or the other, but it is getting old hearing how the SEC east is down year after year that the Gamecocks have some success. Fact is, the Gamecocks are up and signing recruits that in years past would have gone to the tigers or other traditional SEC powers. That has a lot to do with the other teams in the east being "down" as everyone likes to say. Six to eight years ago, Clemson would have signed Clowney and the Gamecocks would not have even been in the running. If the SEC east is down, what the heck has the ACC been the last several years. Clemson, the noles and Va Tech have been it period, and truthfully Va Tech has been vastly overrated. Really starting to sound silly and envious with all the excuses around here. Clemson and Dabo can prove to the fans around here that they are better than Spurrier, Clowney and the Gamecocks by beating them on the football field. Maybe then the whining and excuse making will stop around here, but I doubt it.

Very similar to our schedule. They got the best draw

possible out of the west, kentucky stinks, tenn is average and lost a lot on offense, and while Vandy has been pretty tough lately, they've had a lot of off the field problems this summer, and they still aren't much/any better than a few 2nd tier ACC teams.
@UGA Florida Clemson
is very similar to
UGA FSU @SC
Coots can talk up the SEC all they want, but they don't play 60% of the good teams in the conference this year.

Would of been undefeated with Clemson's schedule? Funny you should say that since we beat an sec power that you could not.
It's possible...except for the final week in which you'd play yourselves.
BTW, Clemson was just a few plays away from being undefeated and we would've beat notre shame too.
It's 2013 over here, Clemson vs Clowney could be the biggest game in the rivalries history.
