I always admired that. Ultimately though, this game was the beginning of the end for CTB.

TB brought in some really great talent during his time at Clemson. I give a lot of credit to Dabo as the recruiting coordinator to get TB thinking much bigger. Going after players like CJ, James Davis, Arron Kelly and server always others.
I don’t believe that TB could have taken Clemson to the levels that Dabo has accomplished. But it is fair to consider if TB had been given the resources that were given to Dabo, it’s possible that TB would have been more successful. One example is assistant coaches salaries. Dabo was given more money to go after better talented coaches. More resources were devoted to recruiting.
As much as I liked TB , Dabo is a unique talent. He inspires, he leads, he is so positive that it is infectious. In fact I don’t know if any other HC in college football that comes close to everything Dabo brings to the table. I don’t think there is another college coach that could have brought Clemson to Elite Status.
I liked and respected TB just missed getting us to another level, TB just had some bad breaks keeping him from winning 10 or more games. I am grateful for the foundation he built for Dabo to build on. And I think overall we should appreciate TB’s time at Clemson. Without TB there is no Dabo!

what he has and not what he's missing.
Tommy Bowden was the bridge Clemson needed to inspire the conversations bringing the Athletic Department & Academia together.
That had been lost when Danny attacked the administration and got his idiot backside fired.
