It was our defense or lack of. We put enough points on the board to win this game had the defense showed up. 24 points would have beat every team we have played so far, it was the 27 points the D gave up that killed us. Fix the D, and I have all the confidence in the world that Coach V will, and we can win out.

It takes a team to win. Ideally, another unit steps up to compensate. Yes, the defense looked disheveled. But they also looked winded and tired. Why is that? Because the offense could not sustain drives. As bad as the defense looked, they also scored a TD. The reasons for the lost are many:

-Lost KB
-2nd most penalty yards in 10 years
-2 chip shot field goals missed
-defense not being disciplined
-defense winded
-Missed blocks by the rbs
-2 balls sailing high from Cooper

Despite all of these factors, we were only 6 points down. Now, how will we respond is the most important question.
