All that takes is a 10 win season this year.

He set the bar low by going to S.C. in the first place.

well I know we sure are doing our part to help him out.

Can we possibly change that anytime soon? That would be good for us.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If SC runs the table this year, he'll stay till he tops Bear

Oct 9, 2012, 3:13 PM

or dies.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well I guess he'll die. He's not catching Bear.***

Oct 9, 2012, 3:27 PM

most of the NCAA rulebook is now designed to stop the very junk he developed AND pulled in his day.

Why are we concerned as to when Spurrier will leave SC?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

behind him and he can start to enjoy actually playing the SEC teams with matching talent.

He seems to be enjoying it more now that he can actually compete with the team that he has built.

Spurrier seemed to be about to call it quits a couple of years ago because of the inferiority of SC vs the SEC.

MLattimore changed that.

Also, he's recruited a quarterback that he told he would stay to coach.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well Lord knows

Oct 10, 2012, 12:19 PM

Spurrier has never told a lie.

I think he will at least stay on through next season. Next year we return essentially the entire offense other than Lattimore and Johnson, and I know he likes Shaw a lot.

After 2013 all bets are off.

Oct 10, 2012, 1:11 PM

can we please please stop with the SC National Championship talk? It isnt going to come close to happening. For them to do so, they would have to win road games vs. LSU, Florida, & Clemson. Home games vs. Arkansas and Tennessee and a neutral site game vs. a Nick Saban coached Alabama. Then they would actually have to win the game against whoever it is.

With that schedule and the fact they haven't played well on the road, we have a better chance to win a national title this year.
