they were done expanding and not going after wvu?? then all of a sudden wvu was announced as a member of the big 12

but this thing is far from over until the deadlines pass.we have seen this all to many times.teams say they are staying in their conference.then the other conference says we arent after this team.then bam they join forces.

Do you really expect Swofford to say that? I agree that this isn't over, but I'm not convinced we are leaving. Should we leave? yes. If we do not leave then year after year we will get further behind and end up reversing roles with usc. With the revenue contracts the way they are and the tv contract the way it is, there just isn't enough revenue to stay with SEC schools (regionally) or Big 10, Big 12, even PAC 12 schools (nationally). Swofford has shown only that he wants a basketball league and has now leveraged the football schools into ensuring that the basketball schools are funded well. If by chance we do end up in the Big 12 by kickoff, we should remove the ACC on the field and go ahead and put Big 12 there. I'm just not sure it's going to happen, and the writing on the wall just makes me sad.
