It is a horrid rule and if that is considered targeting then get ready to see a TON of knee injuries. The only way to make a tackle and not have the possibility of helmets rubbing against each other is for players to go at the knees.

What a horrible horrible rule.

Why don't they just switch to flag football. This has gotten ridiculous. What else is he supposed to do? The only way it could've been any better is for him to hit slightly lower, but he was in the guy so quick, he didn't have a chance to break down any lower. Ron Frickin' Cherry. It's not like he was giving him the business. If that was Clemson, I would be out of my mind right now. Total Barbara Streisand.

the single worst rule in college football.

An ejection for a single hit is terrible. It gives the officials way too much power over the game.
