ACC is 24 - 20 vs. the SEC the last 4 years

Just something for coots that are always trying to pump up their schedule. I know I hear it all the time how much tougher/better the SEC is than the ACC. 75 percent of the matchups are ACC Atlantic teams. Most of the rest involve GT. In fact, all but one of those 24 wins were won by a team Clemson plays every year or by Clemson.

USuCk's record that decade vs SEC was 1 - 19 - 2. Maybe that's why they were invited to join.

played in 6 bowl games between 49 and 59 and had an excellent reputation in football. There were only 9 bowl games in 59. Coach Howard said that they ruined the ability to compete with teams out of our conference, because of this. We entered a dark period where our conference and team was like a 'group of 5 team' back then. A court case threw out the rule in 71 and it took until 77 to build our program back up to compete with out of conference schools. We went without playing in a bowl for 18 years. That is why our out of conference record was so out of wack for a long time.

On rivalry Saturdays for the last 4 years, the ACC is 10-2, with the only losses being GT to UGA last year and UL losing to UK the previous year. Both FSU and CLEMSON are 4-0 vs. UF and USUC, respectively. They are our beeches.

They are good for nothing! Losing to Kentucky is suppose to be the coots specialty.

Before that UGA won 5 in a row. Which makes 7 of last 9 for the Dawgs. That rivalry is about as lopsided as Clemson v Coots

Coot math at its best, 2-2 not 3-1 . What is your tough SEC sos listed at this year in the mighty east ?

If you bothered to read, the guy above me said GT was 3-1 against Georgia. The "hmmmmm" at the end of my reply to him was a great indicator that me repeating what he said wasn't right. Reading comprehension will get you far.

win more per year. Not what one would call dominance when we have Tech playing Jawga every year. That is a pretty lop sided rivalry in modern times

But at the same time you have FSU who is always ranked higher than Florida.....Lousiville who is always ranked higher than Kentucky and Clemson who has a lopsided rivalry with the coots. So every rivalry weekend you the ACC is going into it with a 3-1 advantage. Also, Clemson and fsu and once in a blue moon Lousiville are the top of their conference while Kentucky, coots and Florida are doormats. Not exactly fair matchups. It would be fun to see the top teams of each conference play every year.

That's still the point...we are ACC, they are SEC....they are suppose to mean more.
They get the advantage of week in week out SEC speed and brute force while we get cupcakes all year long....the end result each year is suppose to leave them so much more prepared than ACC weaklings who hadn't seen SEC speed all year....
....at least that's what I was told during their little 5-bomb syndrome.
Now, they are so beatup by the time they play the rivalry games, it's unfair.
I guess it just means less.

LOL!!! Florida won the SEC East in 2015 and 2016 which is in the 4 year span of the OP. I guess that shows how garbage that conference is other than Alabama when a "doormat" plays in a championship 2 years in a row. Your team is trash considering you can't get in over a doormat.

Well the year that GT played in a title game they beat their SEC rival, so I'm not sure what your argument is, and that was 4 years ago.
Are you the Coot that asked how to reset your pulse? I don't remember all of your post from the past 3 weeks but how many posts did you make before you showed your feathers? At this point you might as well just bail on the "Coothater" name because nobody is buying it. Either make a fake Clemson handle and commit to the role, or just make a real Coot handle like ILOVECACKS and just live with the shame.

2017 - Coots 2nd, UK 4th & UF 5th out of 7 teams

Doesn't sound like doormats to me. Clemson was 1st, UL 5th and FSU 6th. Seems pretty even to me!!!
2016 - UF 1st, UK T-2nd, UGA T-2nd, USUCK T-5th. Again....not doormats. The conference just isn't as elite as you think.

That's their division, not conference. Think we all agreed the east is the weakest in CFB so being the 2nd best in a weaker division is supposed to mean they're good?
