Tigers are taking some flack from the pundits about that

game but I'd be genuinely curious to see how Bama would respond if they had a week where:

- Tua was named starter
- Hurts up and transferred
- They then played an upstart Mississippi St team in a nooner
- Tua goes down in the first half, and they have to turn to...
- *Googles Bama depth chart* Mac Jones to win the game?

Maybe the Tide wins that game by 2 TDs, but I doubt it. And I guarantee the sports media take would be about how resilient and deep Bama is, not how overrated and lucky to still be in the playoff race they are.

Get that offense rolling and they will see that the QB doesn’t make the team, there is talent all over that field.

That is not until October 20. That will give Trevor and Chase time to get more comfortable. Also, we hopefully have more experience for our young corners. And, our offensive line now has some real success with the run game to build on.

Screw them. I’m very proud of what our team did with the adversity of the week and day. One of my top ten games in the stadium personally. Go Tigers.

Good points.

We just played the cards we were dealt. Against some pretty shytty circumstances still found a way to win.

Very proud of our guys and their resilience

Jesse Palmer (I know - grade of slaw) was actually complimentary of the resiliency and said it should be a positive influence for CFP selection committee.

And you forgot to mention, #3 CB is suspended and #1 CB gets injured.

We had an awful lot of distractions and setbacks, were down most of the game, but had a number of key players who found a way to make things work when we had already moved quite a bit past Plan B. We are not a football machine. We have very human guys who worked together to overcome some challenges. (see also various Daboisms referencing Heart & Guts :))
