Was just thinking the same thing. Wish they could bring him back. Hey, I even got used to "AND THERE'S ORANGE IN THE END ZONE"!!

Replacing Jim Phillips was #### near impossible, but getting to hear Pete call these games again, I'm not sure why they let him go.

Munson is a part of the "good ole boys club"

Friend of Dabo's. I'd honestly rather hear our basketball guy, Tony Castricone attempt to take over football broadcasts. Granted he's green, but he's young and has time to develop his craft. Right now, it's embarrassing when ESPN shows highlights with the radio guys making the calls. Munson is way out of his league.

It's just a different age now, I guess. The Jim Phillips', Larry Munson's... Heck, even Bob Fulton made listening to a Gamecock game not so bad.

Jim was great but near the end of his career he had trouble keeping up with the plays, who had the ball, etc

Yannity is pure professional. Munson's not qualified to call BHP BEAR football

I also miss Pete. He did a great job, very professional calling games yet had his own style.

People sometimes referred to him around WSPA as Pete YanaTater
