The forecast is getting worse

The most recent forecast is worse than the last. I thought the forecast for 16 inches that they came out with this morning was crazy. Now they are up to 20. I think the concern on this one might be justified.

Would they cancel sooner than later?

My opinion is they'll wait no later than midday Friday to make the call either way if not earlier tomorrow morning.

If they don't cancel by lunch tomorrow, it's a good sign that it's on.

I keep looking at it and saying to myself, "it can't get any worse. AND THEN IT DOES.
I am so pissed off right now. I was looking forward to this all year. Still going to go but ####

This from my buddy on the grounds crew ...
"Death valley will drain like a champ, rain shouldn't be an issue. With playing the game that is. Hopefully we establish the run"

I know it's frustrating but not worth getting upset over

Weather is a force of nature and we have no control whatsoever. If it rains Saturday, it rains. If somehow it doesn't, then it doesn't. One of the associate AD's was on the WSPA7 news a few minutes ago and continued to say they were monitoring the situation and that the game is going ahead.. so just don't worry about it.

Don't see how they can play with this forecast. Maybe move everything to Atlanta and Georgia Dome but Falcons have home game at 1. Disappointing

Dunno how you move it to ATL with 82000 purchased tickets compared to a smaller stadium in ATL.

You don't. The options are pretty simple....

You either (1) play it Saturday at the scheduled time, (2) play it earlier on Saturday before the heaviest of the rain arrives, (3) move it to Sunday, or (4) cancel it outright.

That map still shows Clemson at 4-5 inches over 4 days. Yes that is A LOT of rain, but it's going to take 2-3 inches in 3 hours to create serious flash flood issues. I think we'll be fine. It will be under 70 and very very wet, but the game will be played... Just my personal opinion.

The Problem is not inside the stadium as much as outside

Flooded roads. Falling trees from saturated ground. Roads may even cave in. 80000 people driving to and from a game in a monsoon. High risk situation

is a terrible mess. The mud from Dolthit (sp) Hills is all over the road and running down toward Bowman. There are huge puddles-big, big, puddles all over. the gameday trucks (7) are parked on Bowman, but the tents are only small ones and the field is already soaked.
