Desperate for Trump's backing as he knows that is which way the SC winds blow there.

gets the support of a lot of Democrats, if you listen to the Republicans in here. If that was ever true, he certainly won't going forward.
Lindsey has to have someone to prop him up. It was John McCain for the longest time and now he's switching over to Trump. That was quite a transformation, even for a politician like Lindsey.
It will be interesting going forward to see if he is able to distance himself once the #### hits the fan with The Mueller Probe given some of the crazy things he's said over the last year or so.

Now explain why a wall was good in 2006 but immoral in 2019.

I don't think most Dems think it is immoral. They just don't think we need the one Trump wants. We just need it in certain spots. Also, Trump said Mex was paying for it, so they want to make him look like a blowhard.

Thats a good point. Now explain why Trump turned down $25 Billion for the wall in exchange for help with Daca just last year?

You're comparing apples and oranges.

The "wall" in 2006 was actually 700 miles of newer fencing and increased patrols, lighting, and checkpoints, which 23 Dem senators voted for. It's not even close to this multi-billion dollar behemoth that Trump wants, which is proposed to be up to even 50 feet high.
Even Trump trashed the 2006 measure as a "nothing wall".
So given that Trump himself even points out that there's no comparison, why are folks like you constantly using this as a comparison?

he'd have full funding and we'd not be in this position.
Right now, I agree that both sides are being childish. But considering he was offered what he wanted and turned it down makes this a Trump issue.

Why do conservatives always equate "socialism" with Venezuela, and not Sweden?

Because things are nice in Sweden and not in Venezuela. They know how much all libs would prefer to live poorly like Venezuelans.
