Of all the cruel and mean-spirited things

the President has said and done over the last 4+ years, what he is doing right now is probably the cruelest, to me. I believe he and his team are easily smart enough to know that they lost the election fairly, or at least they know that it will never be overturned.
Therefore, what he is doing right now can only be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to further divide the electorate and government leaders, and intentionally make it less likely for President-elect Biden to succeed. He is sacrificing the well-being of our nation for the furtherance of his brand, or to stroke his ego, however you want to frame it.
I'm not even talking about the "transition," though that is a part of it. I'm talking about, on January 20th, leaving President Biden with a fractured nation, and intentionally making it worse. It is cruel, for Biden, but, more importantly, for all of us.

but there isn't much damage he can do in the next month and a half.
When dem policies take over and everything starts tanking, Trump will get the blame.

Neal,
I would ask that you look into this further. There is plenty of damage that trump can do on hhis way out of the door, including foreign policy decisions and appointments that cannot be easily reversed. Here are just a few examples.
https://www.yahoo.com/now/trump-rush-drilling-leases-arctic-172628524.htmlhttps://media.zenfs.com/en/bloomberg_markets_842/97bf62080a9e657a7a8e224c3c54c736"> Trump to Rush Drilling Leases in Arctic Before Biden Takes Over (Bloomberg) -- The Trump administration is advancing plans to auction drilling rights in the U.S. Arctic National Wildlife Refuge before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, who has vowed to block oil exploration in the rugged Alaska wilderness. The Interior Department is set to issue a formal “call for nominations” as soon as Monday, kick-starting a final effort to get input on what tracts to auction inside the refuge’s 1.56-million-acre coastal plain. The plans were described by two people familiar with the matter who asked not to be named detailing administration strategy.Biden has pledged to permanently protect the refuge, saying drilling there would be a “big disaster.” But those efforts could be complicated if the Trump administration sells drilling rights first. Formally issued oil and gas leases on federal land are government contracts that can’t be easily yanked. The U.S. Geological Survey has estimated the refuge’s coastal plain might hold between 4.3 billion and 11.8 billion barrels of technically recoverable crude. Yet it’s unclear how many oil companies would have the appetite to mount costly operations in the remote Arctic wilderness amid low crude prices, steep public opposition, and regulatory uncertainty. Major U.S. banks have sworn off financing Arctic drilling projects, and conservationists are also pressuring oil executives to rule out work in the region.Truly WildEnvironmentalists argue Arctic oil development imperils one of the country’s last truly wild places -- a swath of northeast Alaska populated by polar bears, caribou, and more than 200 species of birds. The Trump administration is also fast-tracking a proposal to conduct 3-D seismic surveys inside the refuge before Jan. 20. The surveys can help pinpoint possible underground oil reserves, but environmentalists warn they are large industrial operations that threaten polar bears hidden in snow-covered dens.Oil companies that buy leases in the refuge might never get the opportunity to use them while Biden is in the White House. Even if leases are sold and issued before Jan. 20, companies will need permits governing air pollution, animal harm, water usage and rights of way that the new administration could stall or deny.Congress mandated the Interior Department hold two auctions of coastal plain oil leases before Dec. 22, 2024. But environmentalists, states and indigenous groups have already mounted legal challenges against the leasing plan. Any victory by the conservationists or settlement with the Biden administration requiring more environmental review could jeopardize leases.Interior Department representatives didn’t immediately respond to an emailed request for comment. The “call for nominations” will help Interior’s Bureau of Land Management decide the contours of an auction. The agency still must issue a formal “notice of sale” before holding one.For more articles like this, please visit us at bloomberg.comSubscribe now to stay ahead with the most trusted business news source.©2020 Bloomberg L.P.

the time they actually receive the approved permit to begin constuction, the use of clean energy will grow another 20-25%. Permit requests like this in Alaska will take years, and will include a law suit from environmental groups adding another 2-3 years to the project.

so separating families at the border as a deterrent for illegal immigration didn't get the Jesus flowing in you? Because that involved helpless children. This administration knew what they were doing, Pence the good Christian even came out and said the policy of separation was intended as a deterrent.
For me this was one of the earliest signs that the man lacked any form of human decency and that his cabinet was feckless and unable or unwilling to stand up to him.

Where Obama did the same thing. Did Obama's admin not share intel with the incoming Trump admin? Did Obama not have Trump to the White House immediately after the election?
You appear to be willfully ignorant on what actually happened during that time. Check the link below to see how you were. The Obama admin gave the Trump admin top-secret security briefings ONE WEEK after the election
https://www.businessinsider.com/timeline-of-2016-and-2020-election-transitions-between-trump-obama-2020-11
Also, what a lame and pathetic "But Obama" attempt. "It's okay if Trump acts like an ### bag because I think Obama did it!!!"
Every presidential admin has briefed the incoming one. Obama did it for Trump. Bush for Obama. Clinton for Bush. Bush Sr. for Clinton. This is not normal, but you're advocating it because Dear Leader.

No matter one's take on "the issues" or the political stance someone takes, there's a LOT more to being President than just saying all the right words. History is chock full of bad leaders who have risen to power saying all the right words, and taking all the right stands on all the right issues, only to end up being a dumpster-fire in leadership.
Something we should all pay attention to. Works both ways politically as well. It's bipartisan.

Over and over that the outgoing administration ALWAYS provides top-secret intelligence for the incoming one to better prepare them and keep America secure.
Why are we having to keep explaining this to y'all? You're either too stupid to understand it, or too much in love with Trump and his team that you're championing it.
There is no in between. It's one of those two. Which one is it with y'all?

compass. Read the link I sent you. That man is a pathological liar, and he is fighting so hard to stay in office because he knows he is going to wind up indicted on several of the cases. This is not a secret. Shoot, the New York Times has documented over 22,000 lies from Trump since 2016.
Trump is on a scorched earth exit by creating political issues by removing portions of our military out of Iran and Afghanistan, which is meant to create problems for Biden. Trumps has been recently firing most of his direct staff, and bringing in neophytes that will cause problems for the initial transfer of power to Biden.

Correct and now the dems call for unity after years of calling us racists and every kind of “phone” just because of our conservative values. Then they steal an election and ask us to politely jump on the socialist train. Well, good luck with that dems.
