You not doing it right!!

Home/press side is never supposed to face SOUTH. You fry/blind your home team/fans and make for a terrible backlight situation for cameras on bright sunny days.

A blocked punt for a safety.
A fake punt for a first down.

Their field runs north/south, so the sideline stands face east and west. Their home side faces west, so the home side gets more sun in the face the later the day gets. So Columbia SC can figure out to put the visitors on the east side, but Columbia MO can't.
