Back then, the "regulars" weren't very friendly to anyone outside of their little clique. May be different now.

and early in the evenings, it's actually an adult bar...

the new owner (Ken still drops in and helps out) is making small improvements but isn't changing the place drastically

good pub food too.

His wife actually owned it, they sold a few years ago when he retired as the pre-med advisor at Clemson, or at least that's what he told me last time I saw him. Heck of a nice guy though.
