Who asked you to size up a recruit?

Jul 20, 2013, 11:32 AM

When did yours or anyone assessment of how a player will do ( stars or no stars)...we have a program that can develop talent and recruits and will continue to do so...We are getting so spoiled with so stars and our own expectations that we have failed to realize that Clemson only offers players they feel they want in the program not what we think. ( just saying).

You just got landblasted. You're allowed to tell "us" how it is with recruits but we can't evaluate? lmao

The only thing I get out of the whole stars and rankings deal is, it leads to momentum and bringing in other recruits when they see the talent we have they cna say to themselves "hey, i want to play with that guy." especially if you are preaching that you are building a championship caliber team those "stars" show that you are trying.

I trust the staff...

Jul 20, 2013, 2:07 PM

but its more than valid for someone to criticize/question us taking a commitment from a guy whose only other offer is from a school that has not even played a down of football yet. Especially in a year where we are limited numbers wise.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

no, actually i think it's the best time to trust the staff.***

i kinda look more at who is recruiting the young man. that,

Jul 20, 2013, 5:01 PM

to me, tells me alot more than if rivals, espn, 24/7, etc. like him. the recruiting services have their own agenda involved to a certain degree, thereby reducing the overall value of the rating systems.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”
