We lost a whole defensive secondary! Lets be real!

We lost a whole element to our defense and tried to cover it up by playing off other teams wr and te. We were in the same shape any other team would be if the lost a whole element of starters (and backups). I hope that anyone who has ever followed football for any period of time would realize that this is not an excuse but a fact.
We are still 10-2 with a major dent in our team. I think all our coaches have done a great job adjusting. If the coots or any other team we played (like wake lost db's too) would have had this happen. Do you think they would have fared better?
This year has been a disaster from the start in our secondary.
We are recruiting better than we ever have. More wins than in many years and a better looking future than we have ever had. This is a young team. I can't believe that a true Clemson fan would be calling for Dabo's job.
The bowl game will be awesome and our O will recover.
We have a great shot at a National Championship next year! Go Tigers!

Finally I found a clemson fan who hassense and is intelligent. For the past few days there has been alot of non-intelligent Clemson fans bashing Dabo. A team that has had a 2 straight 10 win season that hasn't been done in a long time. To have a not so good defense because you they are young and still go 10-2 I think we should be. I know it hasn't gone our way for the 4th straight year. **** happens we need just need deal with it and move on.

Humpheries should have been a DB from the start
BV wants him on D, but Dabo claims we are too thin at receiver
So it seems we are thiner at receiver than at DB

I thought they were all great wins! Not to long ago we were lucky to go to a bowl.
Let's don't take for granted what Dabo is building or we will really find out what it's like without him and his leadership.
I guess some folks like "Tommy's" better..lol
We lost 2 games all year to two very good football teams and both of them exposed our weakness in our secondary. Imagine if we had lock down corners!

Are you kidding. We had a veteran secondary. We had Brewer, Meeks, Hall. Robinson has had plenty of experience. Breeland has plenty of experience.
Of course Robinson and Breeland didnt play in the Coot game but for depth chart wise we have veterans in that part of the field.
I guess that falls on coaching

The problem is Clemson has no depth. USuCk beat us with second string personnel. Played second string personnel throughout the night. We don't have that luxury. Until we do, we will not win these type of games.

they used a qb who was the better passer, so they could further expose our secondary. what i didn't like about our effort, was letting dylan run on us. even when we were in a zone, we didn't look for that.

In college football you must be deep on the depth chart to keep guys fresh and to allow for man to man match-ups.
Take a look at the guys we lost in the secondary. Yes, this does make a difference. It changes your match-ups and ability to blitz and cover with better odds.

•Justin Parker, LB, groin, out for season
•Darius Robinson, DB, ankle, out for season
•Jerrodd Williams DB, broken leg, out for season
•Bashaud Breeland, CB, groin
Go Tigers! Dabo will recruit in our area of need. He has a knack for getting guys we never got before. Of course our tradition and past players helping doesn't hurt.
