We Have a Glaring Problem

Oct 18, 2014, 7:06 PM

and that problem is the O-Line. A lot of Morris' play calling is based around the fact that our offensive line play is terrible. I have seen the line gel more over the past two weeks, which is why we are having more success at running the ball and keeping an open pocket. The good news is help is coming. Anyone know if the problem is the line coach or S&C? In whichever case it is, we need to fix the problem and we will have a truly salty bunch.

we sure do...

but crump could fix that easily

injuries and transfer this year.

We obviously don't have a great line but we have had a lot of bad luck with our depth this year too.

decent defenses ? jeez, what does a defense have to do

Oct 18, 2014, 7:18 PM

for you to say a "good defense". if you are a teacher, your students failure rates must be terrible, i mean with your grading criteria and all..

I am not a coot. I don't see why all of you believe I am. I am aware we have had injuries and transfers. I, for one, do not want all of the money I donate to my alma mater to go to subpar coaching. All of you are flaming Morris, but he has to work with what he has. Our O-Line may be thin, but why is that an excuse for them not stopping anyone? Either their assignments are incorrect or they do not have the muscle needed. Judging by the total size, including those injured and who have transferred, I am leaning toward S&C. Does no one honestly remember the vid from 2/3 years ago where out O - linemen were improperly working out? It was a huge stink on here.

Fyi, I lost my other handle because I had it set up with my Clemson Squirrel mail which was discontinued about two years ago and I just started back on this board.

They played decent. Was this there best game? Obviously not but they played well when they had to and I thought they have Stoudt plenty of time for him to get rid of the ball.

Considering that BC's D is about as stout as we are likely to see the rest of the year, I am cautiously optimistic. They did a reasonably decent and effect ENOUGH job.

GT likely to be the biggest test between now and coot day. Watson will hopefully be back in picture for both of those games.
