They believe that Cole will have the best game of the season. What evidence has been given to them that the rest of us aren't seeing? Im not bashing Cole as a stand up guy or a nice kid. But he's no D1 QB. He can't play at this level. We've seen it week in and week out. He doesn't have what it takes. He squeaked by BC Cuse and Wake who have a combined record of 13-23 this season.
Wake and Cuse beat:
Army
Gardner Webb
Va Tech
Nova
C Mich
Wake
His performance is frustrating to watch from the stands and the whole offense plays flat. There's no emotion, no intensity, no fight. For this reason I won't be going bowling. I can watch his stellar performance and a Clemson win from the comfort of my couch and be ok with that.
Oklahoma lost to TCU by 4 pts, Baylor, K State by 1 pts and OKSt, their rival in OT. Baylor blew them out. Their combined records are 37-11
Im not sure why there is so much confidence in our offense being able to play with this team. The Jet Sweep can only work so many times. This isn't S Carolina we're playing
Realistically, I don't see us winning this one with Cole but if we do it'll be a great win by a great defensive showing.

for months despite us winning close games against inferior opponents, unsurprisingly the "He's doing enough to win!" crowd went away after the GT game

He stuck it out for 5 yrs, he's a Clemson guy, he has Purell beautiful hair. I bet he's a good dancer and opens the door for his dates. I bet he makes good grades and helps fellow students who are struggling. But where is this "You Gotta Believe" attitude coming from?

If I were one of our other backups, I would quit the team. Dabo is totally disrespecting them, and the entire team by starting Stoudt IMO. The guy is terrible, and he's being set up to quite possibly be the worst quarterback at Clemson of all time by the coaching staff. Not sure why they feel the need to continually put him in a position to have his confidence crushed.

You should have ranked all of the teams according to an arbitrary set of mathematical parameters set to favor the SEC, then included a human factor of a ranking by voters who are both alumni AND veterans, combine the two and have them presented by Tymere Zimmerman while a tiger rag ringtone plays in the background on a Nokia 2110.
