Based on voting map, looks like ~4k+ votes needed to help get Vic back in the ballpark (assuming 1st place guy's numbers don't move much )! Voting ends tomorrow (I think)..
Click below to vote for Vic's sack record-breaking/fumble-recovery/td-scoring performance against NCSU!

Other players receiving votes makes the base larger and Vic not receiving votes, i.e. vic = 2 votes, base = 5, vic = 40%.
vic = 2 votes, base =6 votes, vic = 33.33%

If you click on the "Discuss" button, it will let you vote there also...so try that! You may also want to try a different browser or device - hth.
Voting ends soon and Vic is still behind (32% to 40%)
Come on, Tiger Nation! Let's make it 2 weeks in a row - DW won this national award last week!

I voted, and I hope Vic wins, BUT...

while it may have been the best play of the day, how impactful was it, really? It turned a 34-0 blowout into a 41-0 blowout.
I think he would have much better odds if the play he made had a significant effect on the outcome...sort of like the late Gaines Adams' similar play against Wake.
No disrespect intended to Vic or OP, but just my $0.02.

No disrespect received, I get your point. Think the play was impactful in alot of ways, esp in that it helped to keep our defense motivated...to go on and "pitch" a shutout in an ACC game, something we hadn't done in a LONG time (over 15 years or so?) And NCSU's offense had been considered decent...
And it was just a really amazing play- Jason Sehorn/ESPN said he is still trying to come up with a name for Vic's "trifecta plus" of:
*rushing the QB/sacking the QB, *stripping the ball, *causing a fumble/recovering fumble in the air and THEN *having his bearings enough to return it for a touchdown - all while knowing he's tying his school's sack record!
Yea, amazing, impactful stuff to me - way to go, Vic!
