New times are upon us. Oregon won the very first NCAA basketball tournament and now has a shot at winning the very first "football tournament".....
Unlike so many Super Bowls, I hope the CFB NC game is a good one!

honestly, you almost have to make an effort to avoid it (the CFB publicity).....its all over sports radio stations, all the sports networks, the major news carriers (worldwide). And as you implied, the world-wide leader is beating the drum at every opportunity (of course, they DO have a "vested" interest!---lol)...and I didn't realize that the two semis set a cable tv record for most viewed programs in history

and beat either O or tOSU twice for the title. Without an SEC team there everyone knows we won't be crowning the best team as national champion. No way.
