That is true but, us that are 50 and over have lived long enough to know that we don't have to lie or sugar coat a dang thing. Call it or tell it like it is, or how you see it. For better or worst, it will pass just like everything else.

either still asleep or leaving for school, while the 20-somethings are thinking they should get out of the sack and dreading another day at work.
The middle age crowd is enjoying morning cups of coffee, while trying to shush kids off to school or get their 20-somethings up to go to work. The older people are having their morning constitutionals...and thankful they no longer have to deal with the kids.
Then, there is an idiot like me, retired for four years, who said the he!l with the easy life...and plunged headfirst right back into the fray of business.

What the heck does it matter? By the way all those 70 year old people are 100 times smarter than all the know it all tweeter kids of today. Sure they may know how to play games but can they grow some food or make some clothes or really build something?

I know you were being semi-sarcastic, but why would anyone want to retire and do mostly nothing. Plus, it seems more often than not that you hear of someone retiring and then they're dead in 5 years - weird, but it happens a lot. Also, "retirement" is something unique to the last 80 years of mankind. Nobody retired before social security went into effect.....before SS people were either rich because they owned businesses or real estate and continued to run and manage those things till they died or people worked till they died so they could eat and have shelter.
I am in my 40's and work for myself. I am typing on the computer for about 80% of my workday and my retirement "plan" is to continuing doing it as long as I can, only with less urgency once I've got my 3 kids out of the house and being productive tax payers.
