I think this is bull. It's like giving teams head starts in the playoff race, when one snap has not even occurred. What if a running back or qb comes out of nowhere and puts up the most incredible numbers? His chances are hurt because the other guys were the favorites from before the start of the season. Two years ago was a prime example. Action Jackson was picked to be a leading contender for the Heistman, has a great first half and it's pretty much over. His last three or four games (sub-par) did not even make a difference in the voting. Clearly DW4 was a better player. Screw the stupid numbers. Alas, the morons will continue to do what morons do.
