Top 5 Death Valley Moments For Me

#5 Balloon Launch - Maryland Game ( Boomer! Boomer!) #4 Holding Herschel Walker Out Of The Endzone ( 10-3 Tiger Win!) #3 We WIll Rock You FSU game after the hit on Ponder #2 Holding George Rogers out of the endzone. 1st Time In Orange Pants #1 I've had many Special Moments in Death Valley, but the one that sticks out the most for me, even though we lost, Puntrooskie. If we had gotten the ball on the punt we would've won the game.
Most of picks are from long ago and it doesn't compare to what we are experiencing today. Being ticket holders since the mid 70's, these are these are the plays that stand out to me the most. But I also like the fact the home field advantage is just that, we hard to beat in our house.
GO TIGERS! SPOT THE BALL!

I love it. My dad always talks about keeping George Rogers out of the endzone.

Really sad thing about that game Is the third down play before the puntsruski, we let an interception go right through our linebackers hands. Game would have been over. Still a great game during my senior year.

on TV. I watched #1 in my BOQ at Ft. Belvoir, Va. during EOBC. I'm surprised I didn't break something after putrooskie -- putting the "destroy" in "build and destroy."

Top 5 of the ones I attended and remember.
Georgia 1987. What a finish.
FSU early 2000's. Don't remember which year. It was one of the first games to kickoff at night. The campus was electric. We won.
Chickens 2000. The catch 2. A lucky fumble recovery for a TD...dejection. A football flying in slow motion... elation. Aaron ultimately plunged the dagger.
ND 2015. The Boulware summersault.
Louisville 2016. Wow.
The first Game Day gets an honorable mention as do several other UGa and Chicken games.

That’s was during my days as a student. The ‘rooskie, while not a happy memory, is unforgettable. I still hate Deion Sanders for that day. If not for him we win that clash of the titans. Danny got some talent and he made those guys TOUGH.

Both are great lists and alot of great moments in Death Valley. Two I will add are both defensive stands against Louisville in 2014 and 2016.

Of the ones I was at:
1. ND monsoon game. 2. FSU 2009 "We will rock you" 3. Louisville 2016 fourth down stop. 4. 56-7 5. Getting to see the team run down the hill while on the sideline for the 2015 FSU game. This was also our first home game as a #1 ranked team.

That moment immediately following the cannon firing...the balloons are rising and you realize that Clemson is wearing orange britches as they run down the hill after warming up in the traditional white.
Going on to beat a ranked coot team with George Rogers.

I take moments to mean shorter times so I'm going with my top 5 single plays instead of entire games.
1. Gallman scoring to put the game away vs FSU to seal the win in the Tigers first ever game in Death Valley as the #1 team in the nation in '15.
2. CJ Spiller juking GA Tech in '06.
3. Stopped 2 point conversion in the pouring rain against Notre Dame in '15.
4. '09 FSU game with McDaniel calling out and choosing to run over Ponder instead of trying to avoid him.
5. Stopping Louisville at the goal line to seal to win in '14.
There are so many amazing moments in Death Valley that it is very difficult to pick 5.
I am only counting games I attended and unfortunately I missed the '16 Louisville game.

I agree with all of the games and moments discussed so far. The one I'll have to add is the Syracuse game in 2018. What a comeback with a 3rd string quarterback. Death Valley was rocking!!!!

Haha. Yea. Alan and I are definitely young alumni, as you can tell, so it's hard to pick games where we weren't alive or were too young to remember. That's why I posted so I could see what everyone else thought.
