Same to you. I listened to some oldies while ago and it occurred to me if The Lettermen started out singing today they would probably be called The Text People

If you could save time in a bottle, what would be the first thing you'd like to do?

Believe it or not, I have always been fascinated with Time Travel, so I have given this lots of thought.
I wouldn't really want to go back in time unless I could do it with all the knowledge that I now possess. Otherwise, I would just repeat all the same blunders all over again. But, even if I were able to change things, who could say that the changes I made would ultimately produce a better future anyway?
I firmly believe that Garth Brooks has thought about these things as well. Two of his better known songs actually reference such things. Look at the lyrics to "The Dance", and "Unanswered Prayers".
Another book about changing history is "11-22-63" by Stephen King. It is by far one of his best books in recent times. The protagonist goes back in time to stop the assassination of JFK, but things do not turn out as expected. Per his line in the book, "History is obdurate, it does not want to be changed."
All those musings aside, if I could go back, one of the first trips I would take would be back to June 1977. My parents house burned to the ground a couple weeks after I had moved out for my first job in industry. No one was home at the time, my parents had gone on a vacation a couple days prior. I would just like to know what really happened to the home I grew up in. I have always had a theory that the fire was set, and this has always bothered me. Since there is no time in Heaven, I expect to find out the answer someday, hopefully not too soon.
