I'm not celebrating Urban's troubles and never had a negative view of him or his program(s). However, he deserves to be fired if he knowingly kept the guy on his staff and failed to report it as he was obligated to under OSU policy and under the terms of his revised contract... and then lied about it just last week.

the subsequent lying and I agree with you on those points. If he knew, didn't report and then lied about it, then he deserves what he gets. My point is simply regarding who he had on his coaching staff and what that coach is alleged to have done. Glass houses and such.

Popularity is overrated anyway. Follow his career path, it’s obvious the guy is scum. We all know this if you know college football. Urban has stoned himself in his own delicate glass home, no need for us to throw anything. And now the glass has been shattered. He is scum, end of story. He tried to retire once, now he has his 2nd chance. This is cut and dry, investigation thing is all fodder. It’s just to ease the press and media for a little while. He lied, he gone!
