Looking at the stats...Louisville ran 99 plays.....

Oct 2, 2016, 12:57 AM

that's incredible. We only ran 62. Also had the ball for 37 minutes to our 22.
Combine that with all the turnovers....it's amazing that we managed to win.
But those stats don't include guts. Or crowd induced false starts on a huge 4th down play.
Or a gutsy kick return by a veteran. Or a defender rising up to make one last tackle with the game on the line.
Great win Tigers!

Congrats to any lurking Louisville fans...your team is heading towards 11-1 and has plenty left to play for. Win out and you'll be in the playoff conversation and heading to a really good bowl. Jackson made a ton of great plays tonight and that Alexander guy on defense had a huge game.

LSU and UGA players would have been faking their deaths ..

Louisville players did that several times tonight...

And we didn't run that many plays.

Hmmm... Something doesn't add up?

Grantham, you could have left that sh!t at Jawja.

This was my concern going into the half.

We played about 10 minutes less than they did before the first half ended. And we could see how tired our defensive players were.

Thanks to Scott's return. That sparked up the crowd and the defense had 2nd wind after that.

We played tough tonight.

Agreed-Scott's return provided the spark the offense and fans needed!

Lamar Jackson's stamina is nothing short of incredible. That guy probably ran 10 miles tonight while getting his brains mashed into the turf every other play.

We averaged a lot more YPP. We were the more explosive team

but the turnovers nearly did us in. 3 of them were really daggers too. Two in or near the end zone to kill really nice drives, and then the INT to open the 3rd quarter and let them up off the mat.
