It’s not the students, it’s the ticket distribution system and no longer allowing anyone on the Hill that doesn’t have a ticket for it. My son didn’t get a ticket for the Furman game in the open lottery so he had to get up at 5am on game day to stand in line with a 1000 other students just to get Hill tickets . They now give students color coded arm bands. One color for upper deck, one for lower deck, and one for the hill. You can’t even move to the hill if you don’t have the correct arm band. The students want to sit on the hilll, the current system just makes it difficult.

This is ridiculous and needs to change. I enjoyed sitting on the hill both as a student and even for a couple years after i graduated. It was a great option if you wanted to sit with your friends but you weren’t able to all get seats together.
