Great QB's do make you look great to some extent. Jimbo is pretty darn good. But I like what Clemson has in Dabo and the way he is doing things. He has created a great atmosphere around the program.

an X & O's coach can still be a CEO (i.e. Saban) but a CEO isn't necessarily an X & O's guy (Dabo)... better way of putting it is that one worked in Operations and the other in Sales to get where they are.

Fisher has/had a horrific relationship with the press down here since he took over as HC. The Florida press castigated him from the get go because he totally eliminated contact between them, the coaches, the players and most of the time, himself. Now that he is a MNC winning coach, i'm not sure if that relationship has improved. Some may applaud his attitude, but Dabo seems very relaxed with the press thereby attracting more news agencies and publicity for CU. Although some may criticize him for occasionally being over the top, he brings attention to Clemson stories that resonate positively with the public like Daniel, the down syndrome young man and Fahmar(sp) to name a few. He makes me proud to be a Tiger. And i can tell you that people come up to me down here all the time and tell me how much they like our coach. Positive, positive, positive for CU and our program.

Has lots more time to spend with the media. Like Danny said, Dabo never met a camera or microphone he didn't love!

That is hard to say if you're judging by the win loss record. Jimbo has a long time FSU power in the state of Fla with one of the richest recruiting grounds in college FB. With the top 10 picks out of Fla, Jimbo is going to get half of that 10, with the rest going to Fla and Miami. Dabo comes in and grabs as many of the rest of what is left below the top 10 as he can. FSU and Clemson are about equal in other recruiting grounds. I believe that Jimbo has the upper hand over Dabo in recruiting b/c of the name that FSU carries from the Bowden days. Is Jimbo a better HC than Dabo, my bias says no. Dabo could do as well at FSU or better. I don't think that Dabo would make FSU any less a team than they are now....

Jimbo doesn't have to operate under the constraints placed on Dabo.
